Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born in February 9th the 9th of February, 1997. Her adoption took place at the age of 3 by her maternal grandmother who was a slum dweller. Her adoptive parent is an American white who has military experience and her mother is Filipino. Her mother claims that she and her brother, who was adopted when infants, were subject to abuse until they enlisted. Her family traveled from San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt, before relocating to Texas at the age of 13 due to her father's need to undergo bypass surgery. Her mother says that the physical violence stopped within a couple of months but that she continued to deal with psychological abuse by her father. Poarch was a member of at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch launched her TikTok account on April 2020 and swiftly rose to stardom amassing more than 40 million fans within less than eight months. The account was home to a variety of videos, but her biggest hit was a video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. She synthesized and moved to the music in a zoomed out video. In the months after joining TikTok she launched her own YouTube as well as a Twitter account in order to make the most of the fame. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak at the end of December in 2020. According to the reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports teams' interest. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves were interested to hire her as an author of content under their respective brands.
