LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James has been widely recognized as being the greatest of all time basketball stars. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing who's the greatest player. James has won two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA titles. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the post-season, second best total career point total and seventh the most assists in his career. He has been selected an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He's played in 10 NBA Finals the third most ever, including eight times in a row between 2011 and 2018. In 2021, James was selected to make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player of NBA history to score at least 10,000 career points as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a potential NBA star. He was a pre-profession player and chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in 2003's NBA draft. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as a premier player in the NBA winning the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010 James, who did not win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, was released as a free agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was made clear in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a sports free-agent in time.
